About the Artist
Alice received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York. She is a free-lance graphic/web designer with a passion for all things seed beads. As a member of the Delaware Valley Bead Society, Alice designed and maintains their web presence.

The need to be creative had always been nurtured by her mother, to whom her pieces are often dedicated. Mostly interested in beadweaving techniques, Alice loves to learn a new stitch and see where the beads will take her. Within the last two years, bead embroidery has become her main focus. The concrete, repetitive nature of this technique frees her imagination. Alice usually doesn't plan her designs, preferring the serendipity of the process. When a piece is finished, she is fulfilled with a sense of accomplishment and integrity.

She finds inspiration in all aspects of life... other artists, music and nature. She is awed by the mystery of how creation occurs. Inquire at Extraordinary Beads, Clinton, NJ to take one of Alice's Bead Embroidery classes.
